1. Create a message template to start a conversation/broadcast

When starting a conversation with a customer via the WhatsApp API, you need to use a template that has been approved by WhatsApp. Please follow the steps below to create and verify the template.

To create a message template, please enter WhatsApp Manager from your Meta Business Manager account.

In WhatsApp Manager, select Message Template and Create new

Select the template destination you want to create, if you want to start a new chat with subscribers or broadcast, please select Marketing, give this template a name and select English.

After sending, the WhatsApp system will immediately review the template. If allowed, you can use this template right away.
