IV. Connect your team members to the platforms

1. Connect your team to manage your Facebook Fanpage/Instagram Business account

In order to manage the Facebook Fanpage/Instagram Business Account chat and comments, your team member have to have roles on the Facebook Fanpage first. They can either be Admin, Moderator, or Editor.

To add them to your Fanpage, first ask for their Facebook account profile's link.

Then go to your Fanpage's setting section.

And go to "Page Roles" -> Assign a new page role -> Paste your team member's link in the box and click "Add".

And go to "Page Roles" -> Assign a new page role -> Paste your team member's link in the box and click "Add".

After this, your team member will receive a notification, and they need to accept this to join the Fanpage.

Once they finished joining the Fanpage, they can login to Pancake with their Facebook's account or follow these steps to refresh and add the Fanpage/Instagram in their Pancake account.

This section applies to platforms such as WhatsApp, Shopee, Tiktok, Line and Tokopedia.

To connect your team members using Pancake's connection link, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1 - 3 is done from An Admin's account

  • Step 4 - 6 is done from the staff's account.

Step 1: From the Dashboard, click "Connect" button.

Step 2: Choose the platform and account you want to add them.

Example:

  • Choose WhatsApp

  • Choose the desired WhatsApp number: Elsa Pancake

  • Click "Create new authorization code"

  • Choose the role: Moderator

  • Click "Create"

  • Copy the link (button on the right) or connection code (button on the left), and send it to your team member

There are 3 roles that you can choose for your staff:

  • Admin: have full permission and access on Pancake, can access to all chat, all sections in Pancake.

  • Moderator and Editor: permissions can be restricted, chats that are not assigned to them can be kept hidden from their Dashboard.

Step 4 - 6 is done from the staff's computer

Step 4: (if you receives the connection link)

From the staff's computer, directly click the link you receive from your admins, or copy that link and paste it into Google Chrome's address bar and press enter.

You will be redirect to Pancake.

Step 5: (if you receive the connection code and already have a Pancake's account)

Follow these steps:

Example:

  • Go to Pancake Dashboard, click "Connect"

  • Choose WhatsApp

  • Choose "Add new account"

  • Choose "Using authorization code"

  • Paste the code to the box

  • Click "Connect"

You will directly be connected with the platfrom after clicking "Connect".

3. Change the page role

If you want to change a team member's role in Pancake, please follow these steps:

Step 1: From Dashboard, click "Connect" Button.

Step 2: Delete the persion you want to change the role.

Step 3: Follow the steps above to make a new connection link/connection code with a new role.

Give the new connection link/code to your staff, when they use this link/code to connect with the platform again, they will enter with the role you choose.
